The Research Institute of Medical Acupuncture, under The Faculty of Homeopathy Malaysia - FAHOM was founded by Prof Dr Nik Omar in 1979 and is a national incorporated alternative Health Centre which has been registered with ROC No: KT 0144530-H.
The purpose of FAHOM is to integrate the concepts of traditional and modern acupuncture forms of treament with western medical training, thereby producing a more comprehensive approach to today's health care needs. It is the premier organ encouraging new research and dialog through lectures, seminars, conferences, etc.
Our Research Institute is committed to holding its diverse membership to the highest standard of training and proficiency among the Asian countries especially Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Phillipine, Vietnam, Korea, Japan and Chinese physician practicing the classical chinese acupuncture.
Therefore to all of you who wish to further the knolwelge and skill in classical acupuncture are welcome to join us at any moment.

Our College, Research Institute of Medical Acupuncture unedr The Faculty of Homeopathy Malaysia perhaps the biggest in Asia with 11.5 acres of land compound. Since 1979 we have produced more than 5000 alternative healthcare practitoners from more tahn 25 countries. The majority of student come to Malaysia to Study - Acupuncture, Homeopathy & Hijamah.
